In Achham, lightning caused four injuries. Due to the lightning that came along with the storm and rain last night in Kamalbazar Municipality-1 of Achham, 4 individuals were hurt.
The injured include Geethakumari Rawat Bista, age 18, Dhirja Bajgai, age 32, Saraswati Bajgai, age 30, and Motikala Bajgai, age 50, all of Kamalbazar Municipality 1.
According to Chief Police Inspector Bhaskar Chand of the Kamalbazar Area Police Office, Geeta, one of the injured, was sent to Nepalgunj for further care because of her serious condition.
At Achham District Hospital, three more injured people are receiving medical attention. Lightning also caused a buffalo to pass away. Some residences allegedly suffered damage as well.
