Advocate Bhagwati Pandey ‘Sheetal’ who gave controversial statements has been arrested.

SSP Dan Bahadur Karki informed that she was arrested on Wednesday morning on the basis of a complaint filed by the people of Tamang and Magar community two weeks ago.

In an interview aired on Prime TV, Pandey objected to the comments made by Muslims, Magar, Tamang, and other communities regarding the marriage rituals of those communities.

They were also protesting demanding that Pandey be arrested and punished.
