Ajay Devgan’s movie “Maidan” has been repeatedly postponed for 8 times

Maidaan’s release date pushed back due to Adipurush buzz: Ajay Devgan’s film, originally set for June 23, has been postponed. With the highly anticipated release of Adipurush, directed by Om Raut and based on the epic Ramayana, people are eagerly awaiting its arrival on the big screen. However, Adipurush’s impending release has had a ripple effect on other films, including Maidaan. The ground thought it wise to delay Maidaan’s release, especially with Adipurush generating a storm of excitement. While Adipurush is scheduled for release on June 16, the new release date for Maidaan has not yet been announced.
According to a source from Bollywood Hungama, Maidaan’s release is being extended because the film’s trailer is yet to be released and there are less than 20 days remaining before the original release date. The makers are actively searching for a suitable new release date and will make an announcement soon.
It’s worth noting that Maidaan has had several release date changes in the past. Initially, it was slated for November 27, 2020, but was moved to December 11, 2020. Then, it was rescheduled for August 13, 2021, but once again faced a delay. The release was then announced for October 15, 2021. Subsequently, it was rescheduled for June 17, 2022, and later moved to February 12, 2023. Finally, it was stated that the film would be released on May 23, 2023.
