Earthquake Strikes Daulichaur, Bajhang in Sudurpschim Province
An earthquake with a magnitude of 4-5 struck the epicenter in Daulichaur, Bajhang, as reported by the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre in Lainchaur. The seismic event occurred at 4:06 am this morning.
Just a few days ago, on May 21, another earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale occurred with its epicenter in Hukam, Rukum-East.
Earthquakes have been occurring with increasing frequency in the eastern and western regions of Nepal.
Nepal’s hilly and mountainous areas are recognized as highly susceptible to earthquakes.
