Banke Bus Accident Kills Seven and Injures 25

Banke, Nepal – In a heart-wrenching incident last night, a bus accident in the vicinity of 8 Shamsherganj, Raptisonari village, Banke, resulted in the loss of seven lives and left 25 individuals injured.

According to information provided by the District Police Office Banke, the calamity unfolded when a bus with registration number NA 7 KHA 2321 collided with a stationary truck bearing the license plate NA 4 KHA 6405.

The victims of this unfortunate accident have been identified as Sadhuram Tharu from Thakurbaba-7, Jug Bahadur Chand from Ward No. 8, Kanshiram Tharu from Ward No. 9, Kasturi Thapa, Rupa Pariyar, Jayanti Tharu, and an unidentified male bus employee. It has been reported that the bus was carrying over 40 passengers at the time of the collision.

The injured survivors are currently receiving medical care at the Medical College in Kohalpur. Meanwhile, local authorities have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding this devastating bus accident.
