Luxurious ‘Dusit Thani Himalayan Resort’ Opens its Doors in Dhulikhel, Kavre

The opulent ‘Dusit Thani Himalayan Resort’ has commenced its operations in Dhulikhel, Kavre, marking a significant milestone with its ‘soft opening’ on Monday.
Nestled within a vast expanse of 7.92 acres of land, this prestigious resort showcases a captivating structure comprising 28 rooms and 18 villas. Additional 26 rooms are currently in the works and are slated for completion by 2024, as per the resort’s investor, Ramesh Hamal.
The resort offers a plethora of top-notch amenities, including a delightful dining restaurant, a chic bar, a spacious meeting hall, and a refreshing swimming pool, ensuring an exceptional experience for its guests.
The soft opening ceremony was graced by notable figures, including Dr. Swarnim Wagle, a member of the House of Representatives, a representative from the Thai Embassy, as well as local residents, who came together to celebrate the occasion.
With the esteemed hospitality brand ‘Dusit Thani’ originating from Thailand, the resort beautifully reflects Thai architecture, courtesy of the skilled design work carried out by a Thai engineer. Notably, Ramesh Hamal, the visionary behind this venture and currently the chairman of the Securities Board, returned to Nepal after a remarkable 19-year stint in Thailand, choosing to embark on this grand venture in Kavre. The resort has seen a substantial investment of NPR 2,050 million, a testament to its commitment to delivering unparalleled luxury and comfort to its discerning guests.
