Kami Rita Sherpa of Solukhumbu has accomplished an astounding achievement by reaching the peak of Mt. Everest for the remarkable 28th time.
Kami Rita, 54, ascended Mount Everest for the 28th time to preserve his world record.
According to Seven Summit Treks, he ascended Mt Everest (8,848.86 meters) for the 28th time at 9:23 a.m. on Tuesday.
Kamirita has the world record for the most times climbed Mount Everest (28).
This is his second Mt. Everest ascent this season, according to Seven Summit Treks Pvt Ltd.
He previously climbed the summit of Everest on May 17, 2023.
Sherpa, who was born in Thame village in the Solukhumbu area, made the first ascent of Mt. Everest on May 13, 1994.
