Lightning Strike Kills 16-Year-Old in Dailekh, Eight Other Injured

In a tragic incident in Dailekh, a 16-year-old boy lost his life to a lightning strike, while eight others were left injured.

The victim, identified as Kishor Dahal and a resident of Mahabu Rural Municipality-3, met a sorrowful fate due to a lightning strike that occurred yesterday evening.

According to Deepak Bista, the Police Inspector at the District Police Office in Dailekh, the incident occurred when lightning struck Ekle Sallo in Mahabusthan.

Kishore Dahal was returning from the local Mahadev temple with a group of people after participating in the Teej celebration when tragedy struck. Lightning struck him, leading to his untimely demise.

Eight other individuals who were with him also suffered injuries in the same incident, as confirmed by the police.

Despite receiving medical treatment at Dailekh District Hospital, the teenager couldn’t survive his injuries.
