Magnitude 4 Earthquake Strikes Bhojpur District,

Last night at 1:11 PM, a magnitude 4 earthquake struck the region, with its epicenter located in the vicinity of Tungechha in Bhojpur, as reported by the National Earthquake Measurement and Research Center in Lainchaur.

The seismic activity sent shockwaves through the Bhojpur district and was also felt in the surrounding areas. It’s a reminder of the region’s vulnerability to earthquakes.

Notably, on July 32 of the previous year, an earthquake registering 3.9 on the Richter scale occurred, with its epicenter near Khiratadi in Bajhang. This serves as a sobering reminder of the seismic activity prevalent in the region.
