Today, the National Assembly meeting under the Federal Parliament is set to take place, focusing on crucial matters. Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda will preside over the meeting scheduled for 1:01 PM at Parliament House in Nayabaneshwar.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Dahal will present several important reports in accordance with Article 53 of the Constitution of Nepal. These include the Annual Report of the Government of Nepal for the fiscal year 2078-079, the 60th Annual Report of the Auditor General for the year 2079, the 15th Annual Report of the National Commission for Women for the year 2078-79, and the 2nd Annual Report of the National Dalit Commission for the year 2078-79.
Furthermore, Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Dhanraj Gurung are scheduled to submit a bill in the meeting. The bill, titled Bill 2080, aims to amend certain Nepalese laws related to the Civil Code.
The National Assembly meeting serves as a significant platform to discuss these crucial reports and legislative amendments, shaping the course of governance and legal frameworks in Nepal.
