The weather forecast division of the Department of Water and Meteorology in Nepal has said that there will be cloudy and rainy conditions throughout the country for the next two/three days. But it will not rain continuously.
According to Govinda Jha, meteorologist of the division, there is an influence of western and local winds in Nepal now. That’s why it will stop raining for a while from today for two or three days. It doesn’t matter if it rains continuously,’ he said.
According to him, there is a possibility that there will be normal to partial rains in the whole country today. It has been raining since morning in a few places in Lumbini, Gandaki, and Bagmati.
There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some parts of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati Provinces, and Gandaki Provinces, and a few places in the rest of the provinces this afternoon as well. There is a chance of rain in Koshi, Bagmati hilly areas at night as well. There is a possibility of rain at one or two places in Madhesh and Lumbini provinces.
Meteorologist Jha informed us that there is a possibility of windstorms and thunderstorms tomorrow in the Terai region of Madhesh, Koshi, and Bagmati provinces.
“Over the next two to three days, the weather system will be active and there is a possibility of rain and thunderstorms,” he said.
