Palpa Motorcycle Accident Claims One Life

Palpa, Nepal – A somber incident unfolded on Sunday night in Palpa, as one person lost their life in a motorcycle accident. According to local authorities, the mishap occurred when a motorcycle with registration number LU 42PA 6709, traveling from Jorte to Argali, collided with a wall in the historic village of Argali, situated along the Tansen-Tamghas road section.

The victim of this unfortunate incident has been identified as 30-year-old Naresh Gharti Magar, a resident of Ward No. 2 in Kalimati Rural Municipality, Salyan. Tragically, Mr. Magar succumbed to his injuries, and doctors at the United Mission Hospital in Tansen declared him deceased.

Additionally, another individual, 28-year-old Prakash Tharu from Nawalparasi Sarawal Rural Municipality-1, who was riding a pillion on the same motorcycle, sustained injuries in the collision. Mr. Tharu is currently under medical care at Mission Hospital.

The motorcycle accident transpired at 1:30 a.m. on Sunday night, and authorities are conducting an ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident. Birendra Thapa, the Information Officer of the District Police Office in Palpa, provided this update on the situation.
