The home match showcased a stellar performance from Newcastle, with Alexander Isak netting two goals, while Sandro Tonali, Callum Wilson, and Harvey Barnes each contributed one goal. Aston Villa managed a consolation goal by Moussa Diaby.
The match’s early moments saw Sandro Tonali convert Anthony Gordon’s cross into a goal in the sixth minute. Aston Villa quickly responded, with Musa scoring in the 11th minute to level the game. However, Newcastle’s Isak was unstoppable, adding goals in the 16th and 58th minutes, while Callum Wilson’s goal in the 77th minute secured a commanding 4-1 lead. Barnes sealed the victory with a goal in injury time, concluding the match with a 5-1 scoreline.

The new Premier League season began with Haaland opening the scoring in the fourth minute, setting the tone for City’s victory. Burnley’s woes were compounded when Anass Zaroury received a straight red card on VAR review for a reckless tackle on Kyle Walker during injury time.
These opening wins have positioned Brighton in the second spot, while Manchester City holds the third position. Meanwhile, Burnley is currently in the 19th position, with Luton right above them in the 18th spot.
