SS Rajamouli Announces Epic Biopic ‘Made In India’ on Dadasaheb Phalke
Renowned filmmaker SS Rajamouli has just unveiled his latest project, a biopic dedicated to the legendary Dadasaheb Phalke, aptly titled ‘Made In India.’ The director’s chair for this prestigious film will be occupied by the National Award-winning filmmaker Nitin Kakkar.
Rajamouli took to his social media accounts, Instagram and X, to share a teaser of this monumental endeavor. In his heartfelt post, he acknowledged the formidable challenge that comes with crafting a biographical film. He stated, “When I first heard the narration, it moved me emotionally like nothing else. Making a biopic is tough in itself, but conceiving one about the FATHER OF INDIAN CINEMA is even more challenging. ‘Made In India’ is set to delve into the life of Dadasaheb Phalke, often referred to as ‘the father of Indian cinema.’ This cinematic tribute will transcend language barriers as it is slated to be released in six different languages: Marathi, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
Behind the scenes, the film will be brought to life through the collaborative efforts of Varun Gupta from Max Studios and SS Karthikeya of Showing Business.
