Tragic Death After Hornet Sting in Syangja

A young resident of Biruwa Rural Municipality-1 in Syangja met a tragic end while undergoing treatment after being stung by a hornet on Tuesday evening.

The victim, identified as 28-year-old Chelis Shrestha, suffered the unfortunate incident while tending to a fire in the forest near his residence.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Rabindra Khanal from the District Police Office in Syangja reported that Chelis Shrestha passed away while receiving medical care at Gandaki Medical College in Pokhara on Tuesday night. It was mentioned by the police that a group of five individuals had ventured into the forest to deal with the hornet nest, and fortunately, the others escaped unharmed.
