Two More Chinese Nationals Arrested in Nepal Gold Seizure Case

The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police has arrested two more Chinese nationals in relation to confiscating 100 kilograms of gold.

The arrests were carried out in Kathmandu last night as part of the ongoing investigation.

The identities of the detained individuals have not been made public by the police.

However, police officials have revealed that these individuals hold prominent roles among those apprehended thus far.

It is noteworthy that last Thursday, four Chinese nationals were taken into custody by the police.

The apprehensions took place following a police raid on an apartment in downtown Lalitpur.

The current tally of arrests linked to this case now stands at 23 individuals.
